Second Place in Copyblogger Contest
Ian Lurie May 30 2007
I’m in Manhattan right now. Specifically, I’m in the spare room in my mom’s apartment, trying to coax my daughter to go to sleep.
Then, out of the blue, one of my staff instant messaged me (I’m the blue messages on the right):
I won second place in the Copyblogger Copywriting contest! Woo-hoo!
I missed first by 1 point. But I’m a magnanimous guy. I’m practically wallowing in magnanimity.
You can read what the judges, Seth Godin, Darren Rowse and Brian Clark all said about the ad and landing page. You can also read the landing page, love the copy, and then hire me for scads of money. Whichever you prefer.
Now, back to getting my daughter to SLEEP….
