Front-End WordPress Developer (Contract Position)
Portent, Inc seeks a skilled front-end developer with an unwavering love for WordPress and a working knowledge of SEO. A great candidate must be an html and css expert who strives for standards-compliant code and constant efficiency. Although your work will be cherished forever, this is a part-time contract position that will last 1-2 months. Seattle-based applicants with the ability to work in-office are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Create custom themes for new wordpress sites (using approved design files)
- Help with existing site maintenance and implementation of new features
- Coding straight html (for landing pages, newsletters, and other static content)
- Light design work
