As part of this internship, you will be working extensively in the Google Analytics program and additional analytics platforms as assigned. You will be working at the direction of the Senior Google Analytics specialist under the Senior Director of Search Marketing on both Portent projects and client sites.
The first week of the internship will be unpaid training; completion of the training session will lead to a compensation period on an hourly basis. There is no overtime or paid time off, but if time off is needed, requests can be granted as unpaid time off. Hourly rate DOE.
Duration of internship is 6 months, full time (40hr), in our Seattle office at the Smith Tower. Internship does have the potential for extension or hire, depending on the successful candidate’s abilities, goals and company workload.
Training, Workload & Experiences Includes (but not limited to):
- Google Analytics IQ Exam
- How to do a full GA install (including ecommerce)
- Regular Expressions
- Advanced filtering, funnels and segmentations
- Advanced custom reporting and dashboard creation
- Documenting processes, drafting instructional materials on GA
- Attribution modeling
- Multi-Channel Funnel Attribution
- Ability to interpret and speak to data from GA
- Ability to provide opportunity gap analysis for any channel
Requirements:
- Excel wizardry (a love of pivot tables and vlookup is a must)
- Working knowledge of Regular Expressions
- Enough Javascript to be dangerous
- Intellectual curiosity
- An insatiable desire to solve problems with data
