Arctic Monkeys cheered up their fans Monday with the release of a brand new song. “There’d Better Be a Mirrorball” is the first sample of the new phase of the band, which arrives with the album “The Car”, the seventh of the English career.

This is the album’s opening song and has a similar sound to the quartet’s previous work, “Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino” (2018). Here the band explores a melancholic sound and lyrics, with fewer guitars and more piano and string instruments.

“The Car” will feature ten songs, all composed by vocalist Alex Turner. It is worth remembering that the band will come to Brazil in November to play three shows: Rio de Janeiro (4th), São Paulo (5th) and Curitiba (8th).
