
If you missed watching video game shows on open TV, you can celebrate! Warner Bros. Discovery and the Band confirmed today (6) that the Warner Play program will begin airing from September 10, this Saturday!
From then on, the program will air every week at 10:30 pm on the station, with the presentation of Arthur Ribas and Amanda Brandão, with some special guests and lots of information about the WB movies, series and games.
According to Juliana Brito, senior marketing manager at Warner Bros. Discovery, the idea is “to expand our audience by delivering the best content from the gamer and geek universe that we have already produced on our social networks such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. We already know that Brazilians love games, and the program will be a way to to get even closer to this audience”.
Rodolfo Schneider, the national content director of Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação, celebrated the partnership saying that it “comes to solidify the diversity of Band’s programming, always attuned to what the public wants to watch. The geek universe was one of the sectors that most has grown in recent years, and we are delighted to have Warner Play as yet another entertainment option for the whole family on Saturday nights.”
Among the main games that will be featured in the first editions of the program we have LEGO Star Wars, Mortal Kombat, Gotham Knights and, of course, the popular free to play MultiVersus.
