‘Better Call Saul’ Creator Confirms When Walter White and Jesse Pinkman Will Appear on the Series
In April, the showrunner of ‘Better Call Saul’, Peter Gouldconfirmed that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will reprise their roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in season 6 of the spinoff ‘breaking bad‘.
After the news, fans went wild trying to find out when the characters would show up at the attraction.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, co-creator Vince Gilligan confirmed that Walter and Jesse will return in the episode titled ‘breaking bad‘, which airs today (01/08), on AMC.
It is worth remembering that the episode title is a reverse joke, as Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) first appeared in ‘Breaking Bad‘ in an episode called ‘Better Call Saul‘.
And, after the title was revealed, the duo’s participation was no longer quite a surprise, obviously.
But the filmmaker made a point of attracting the audience, saying:
“Spoiler alert for everyone. Nobody else knows about it yet. Next Monday night, if you’re watching the net AMCyou can miss Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in ‘Better Call Saul’.“
Prior to this long-awaited return, White and Pinkman met again in the film ‘El Camino‘, set after the final season of ‘Breaking Bad’.
So, are you looking forward to seeing them?
The final season concludes the complicated journey and transformation of its committed hero, Jimmy McGill (Odenkirk), into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. From cartel to court, from Albuquerque to Omaha, Season 6 follows Jimmy, Saul and Gene, as well as Jimmy’s complex relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn), which is in the midst of an existential crisis. Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando) and Lalo (Tony Dalton) are trapped in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
Created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gouldthe production serves as a prequel and spin-off to the acclaimed and award-winning series ‘breaking bad‘.
The cast still has Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Giancarlo Esposito and Tony Dalton.
