Björk fans have already learned to expect the unusual from the Icelander and this time was no different. She has just released “Atopos”, the first single from “Fossora”, her upcoming album which will be released on September 30th.

Musically, the artist continues to surprise. It is accompanied by a quartet of clarinets and an electronic drum loop generating, once again, the sensation of surprise.

Interestingly, the song’s lyrics are very simple and straightforward with the singer thanking everyone who was by her side and remembering that if we don’t expand towards love, we will implode into hate.

The track also won a video with art direction, concept and photography of enormous beauty and innovation and raises the anticipation for the show that she will do soon in Brazil – on November 5th at Primavera Sound in São Paulo.
