RSS Made Easy

sg rssSeth Godin gives some good hints for using RSS in his recent post, What’s RSS?. He left out one important, really easy tool, though – no cutting-and-pasting required.

Install the Mozilla Firefox web browser on your computer, and whenever you use Firefox to visit a site that’s correctly configured, you’ll see a nifty little icon at the bottom-right-hand corner of the browser window. Click it, and you’ve subscribed to the RSS feed – you can see the feed in your bookmarks, with a recent list of articles. Here’s for a screen capture of FireFox’s RSS feature in action: rssfirefox.gif (100kb).
