"Break My Soul" Becomes Beyoncé's Seventh No.

After seven weeks in the rankings, finally, Beyoncé’s “BREAK MY SOUL” has reached the top of the North American singles chart after climbing five positions in the last seven days. This is her seventh song, or with her presence, to top the Billboard Hot 100—she also had four more #1s as a member of Destiny’s Child.

The singer also placed six other songs from “RENAISSANCE”, her new album, which was the best selling of the week, in the top 30. In order: “CUFF IT”, “ALIEN SUPERSTAR”, “CHURCH GIRL”, “I’M THAT GIRL”, “ENERGY (feat. BEAM)” and “COZY”. The other nine tracks from the work are also on the Hot 100, between positions 41 and 70.

The rest of the ranking had no major news. In the top 40, to note only the climb of “5 Foot 9”, by Tyler Hubbard, which rose from 48th to 38th place. To find a non-Beyoncé debut, you had to look at the bottom of the list, at number 50, where NAV’s “Never Sleep (With Travis Scott, feat. Lil Baby)” is.

The top 10 looked like this:

1 – “BREAK MY SOUL” – Beyoncé (up five spots)
2 – “About Damn Time” – Lizzo (dropped one position)
3 – “As It Was” – Harry Styles (dropped one position)
