Britney Spears counters son’s statement and talks about $ 40,000 a month alimony to ex-husband

Britney Spears used her social media to counter the statements of her youngest son, Jayden James, 15, who said, in an interview with “60 Minutes Australia”, that he hopes the singer “improves mentally”, so that the two can “sit down” and “have a normal conversation”.
In an audio published on Instagram this Monday (6), and already deleted, Britney addressed her son directly. “Jayden, you diminish my behavior, as my whole family has always done, with ‘I hope she gets better, I’ll pray for her’… Pray for what?”, the Princess of Pop snapped.
“Do you want me to get better so I can keep paying your dad $40,000 a month?” Britney continued, referring to the alimony she pays her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. “Or the reason you decided to be mean is because it’s going to be over in two years and you’re not getting anything?”

The singer then recalled a conversation she had with her youngest and also with 16-year-old Sean Preston, talking about wanting to spend more time with them. “I’m going to say something. I sat in that kitchen and looked you in the eye, pretty boy, and said, ‘Why can’t I see you anymore? Or just see you more often? I look forward to seeing you weekly.’ You said, ‘Mommy, oh, that’s going to change.'”
“You and your brother always dropped me off at that house two hours early. Preston was going to sleep. You played the piano all the time. And if I didn’t shower you with gifts and I didn’t have amazing food ready and play the f*cking saint, I would never be good enough,” she added.
Still in the audio, Britney spoke about the consequences of having lived under her father’s guardianship for 13 years and how much it affected her relationship with her children. “It saddens me that none of you have valued me as a person. You’ve witnessed what my family has been like to me and that’s all you know. Like I said, I feel like you all like to secretly say there’s something wrong with me.”
“Honestly, my dad should have been in jail for the rest of his life. God wouldn’t have allowed this to happen to me if there was a God. I don’t believe in God anymore because of the way my kids and family treated me. There’s nothing left anymore. to believe”, said the artist.
