'Cursed Invitation': Horror inspired by 'Dracula' will win version for LARGER

In an interview with Bloody Disgusting, the director Jessica M. Thompson revealed that there is a BIGGER version of horror’damn invitation‘ (The Invitation).

Unlike the theatrical version, the new cut will have more blood and violence, and will be available when the film is released on VOD.

“The R-rated version (PG-13) was released in theaters, but the R-rated version (R) will be released online on VOD. There are more prosthetics and blood in this version, but I always think we lost some of the tension in revealing the monster. So we still keep the mystery but there’s a little more violence [na versão para maiores]. And more blood.”

She adds, “There’s more name-calling too, and the sex scene is a little longer. These are some of the differences we had the chance to introduce in the R-rated version.”

It is worth remembering that the horror will be released in national cinemas on the september 15th.
