Demi Lovato released, this Friday (19), the eighth album of her career, “HOLY FVCK”. The long-awaited album is true nostalgic material for the artist’s longtime fans.

That’s because the pop punk style sets the tone of the 16 tracks, as well as on Demi’s first two albums: “Don’t Forget” (2008) and “Here We Go Again” (2009). “HOLY FVCK” has excited the artist’s admirers since her first single, “SKIN OF MY TEETH”, sounding like a return to origins.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Demi talked a little about the process of creating the record. “Yes, I’ve definitely been through a lot. It’s no secret to the world. (….) And actually, after going through even more in the past year, I came out of treatment again. And I realized (that) I I really want to do this for myself, and I want to make the best album possible, something that really represents who I am. And I think (…) the easiest way to do something is to do it clean and sober. (…) No I can say that about my last album (“Dancing With the Devil… The Art of Starting Over”). But this record (“HOLY FVCK”), I’m really, really proud.”
