During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Adams talked a bit about the long-awaited film and said that the experience of the new feature was much more intense than the first, leaning more towards the settings of a musical rather than a parody.

“There’s a lot more singing and a lot more dancing, which was amazing. The last time I actually danced like this was in my mid-20s, and now I’m not there anymore. It’s a different feeling when you’re forty. In my heart, I feel like I’m in my twenties when I dance, and then I watch the recordings and think, ‘Wow, it’s not the same,’” she commented.

Directed by Adam Shankman, the new film is scheduled to premiere in 24th of November this year.

The plot takes place 15 years after the events of ‘enchanted‘ and takes us back to Giselle’s world (Adams) and her pragmatic husband, attorney Robert (Dempsey). With Morgan now a teenager, Giselle and her family will relocate to suburban Monroeville, where she will have to face the challenges of a new home as she tries to rediscover the true meaning of “Happily Ever After”.

The cast also counts Gabby Baldacchinowhich will bring Morgan to life in adolescence, in addition to Idina Menzel (Nancy Tremaine) Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown and Jayma Mays.
