Hooked on You, the Dead by Daylight spin-off you didn’t know you wanted, officially launched last Wednesday, August 3rd. The game is available first on PC, bringing your favorite assassins to the “dating sim” format.

The “dating sim” can be translated as “dating simulator”. It’s the type of game that usually appears in the visual novel format – as in Hooked on You – and the objective is to get closer to eligible bachelors in order to choose the love of your life.

The game’s debut was accompanied by a new launch trailer that you can see above. We can see some activities in the game, the candidates for the procession and a festive atmosphere that is clearly a parody of the darkness of the original version of Dead by Daylight.

The game is a fun response from the developers at BeHaviour Interactive to players who get thirsty with their in-game killers. Fan-arts and memes with the characters are not uncommon, which even makes it curious to see that Trapaça was not included in the game.

Buyers of Hooked on You who also play Dead by Daylight will receive some bonus items in asymmetrical multiplayer – a “Surf Survivor” skin for survivor Jake Park and a Captured Heart keychain.

Hooked on You was only released on PC and has no official predictions yet for coming to consoles.
