“It Empowers People of Color,” Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer talk about director Jordan Peele and 'No!  Do not look!' [EXCLUSIVO]

In an EXCLUSIVE interview with CinePOP, the stars Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer talked about the suspense ‘No! Do not look!‘, which opens in theaters this Thursday, August 25th.

In the video, they reveal whether they believe in aliens and explain why the director Jordan Peele (‘Us’ and ‘Run’) makes such great movies:

“It’s a compilation of everything. Mix Clint Eastwood and Sidney Poitier with Akira. Where he takes inspiration from and how he applies it to the universe he is creating is very unique. And, of course, empowering people of color in positions of leadership. It makes his films innovative because it adds different layers and nuances that aren’t always present in films. Which is crazy, but true,” Keke said.

Review | No! Do not look! – Jordan Peele subverts expectations in a film that feels like an episode of ‘The Twilight Zone’

In the plot, the residents of a lonely ravine in the interior of California witness a strange and frightening discovery.

The film managed to surpass $100 million at the US box office, becoming the filmmaker’s third film to surpass the mark in the country – after ‘Run!‘ (US$176.1M) and ‘We‘ (US$175M).

No! Do not look!‘ had a bigger budget than previous productions of peelwith estimated $68 million.

Please note that ‘Run!‘ and ‘We‘ managed to surpass the mark of $255 million worldwide.
