'Joker' Sequel Is Only DC Film To Get Green Light After 'Shazam 2' And 'Aquaman 2'

despite the Warner Bros Discovery be promoting delays and cancellations of films from A.Dthe sequence of ‘joker‘ is the only film on the pre-production list that remains in development.

According to Variety, the feature titled ‘Joker: Folie à Deux‘ was officially approved by the studio.

In addition to ‘Black Adam’, ‘The Flash’and the sequences of ‘Shazam’ and ‘Aquaman‘, there is no other film in the A.D being planned for now. But the sequence of ‘Batman’ (Matt Reeves) should also be greenlit soon.

Please note that ‘black adam‘ debut in october 20while the release date of ‘The Flash‘ continues in negotiations due to outbreaks and crimes of Ezra Miller.

Already ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom‘ was delayed from March 2023 to december of the same year. ‘Shazam! 2: Fury of the Gods‘ was postponed from December of this year to March 17, 2023.
