‘Kaos’: ‘Entourage’ Actress Will Play Medusa in Netflix’s New Series About Greek Mythology

According to Deadline, Debi Mazar (‘Entourage’) has joined the cast of ‘chaos‘, new comic series from Netflix about Greek mythology.
The actress will play the villain Medusa, an iconic figure who turns anyone who dares to look directly at her to stone.
please note that Jeff Goldblum (‘Jurassic World: Dominion’) will star as Zeus.
The cast will still have Janet McTeer (Ivy), David Thewlis (Hades), Aurora Perrineau, Cliff Curtis (Poseidon) and Nabhaan Rizwan (Dionysus), in addition to Killian Scott, Misia Butler, Leila Farzad, Rakie Ayola and Stanley Townsend as a group of mortals who may be responsible for Zeus’ downfall.
The project was created by Charlie Covell (‘The End of the F***ing World‘), and is being described as grandiose, on the same scale as ‘games of thrones‘.

“It will basically be a contemporary reimagining of Greek Mythology,” revealed Covell. “I think it will have the same scale as ‘Game of Thrones,’ but the tone will be more relaxed, in terms of humor, visuals and soundtrack.”
Expecting family, politics and power, the plot will introduce three worlds: the Gods, the Earth and the Underworld. Using the myths and renewing them, the plot will focus on Orpheus and Eurydice, who are part of a dysfunctional family of gods.
The series will have 20 episodes of one hour each, with production of Nina Lederman, John Woodward and Tanya Seghatchian.
