Kelli Giddish Leaves ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Cast After 12 Seasons
Bomb! According to TVLine, Kelli Giddish will leave the cast of the series ‘Law & Order: SVU‘ after 12 seasons.
The actress, who plays Det. Amanda Rollins, will say goodbye to the production at the beginning of the next cycle, giving a conclusion to her character.
In an official statement, giddish stated, “I would like to clear up the rumors and confirm that I will be leaving the cast of ‘Law & Order: SVU’. This will be my last season. Playing Rollins has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I was lucky to be a part of this family for the last 12 years. There is simply no other character on television quite like Rollins. She matured and evolved, just like me. I’m excited about everything I’ve learned over the last few years and excited for what’s to come.”
THE NBC has yet to confirm how the character will be removed from the narrative, but the site claims that Rollins will go through a traumatic experience in Season 24. Despite this, it is unclear whether the incident will be specifically responsible for her departure.
