Kylie Kelce Discusses Life with Jason After His Retirement from the NFL

Retirement Transitions for the Kelce Family

Life after retirement has proven to be quite an adjustment for the Kelce family. Jason Kelce, who dedicated 13 seasons to the NFL, has left the field but has stepped into a bustling new chapter of his life. With the possibility of a Hall of Fame induction on the horizon, Jason is finding that his schedule is as packed as ever.

A New Career Path

Despite hanging up his cleats, Jason has taken on a variety of roles that keep him on the go. He has become a prominent analyst for “Monday Night Football” on ESPN, which involves extensive travel and preparation. In addition to his commentary role, Jason is set to host a late-night show on the same network next month. He also collaborates with his brother, Travis, on a podcast that has gained considerable attention.

Juggling Family Life

As Kylie Kelce prepares for the arrival of their fourth daughter, life at home has become increasingly hectic. With three young children already keeping her busy, Kylie notes that Jason’s new commitments mean she sees him less now than when he was a player. In her newly launched podcast, “Not Gonna Lie,” she shared her thoughts on their current family dynamics.

“I see him less now in retirement than I did when he was playing football,” Kylie explained. “We had a set schedule then. Now, it’s an absolute free-for-all. He is working so hard and really grinding right now.” She emphasized the importance of ensuring she has support at home, admitting, “He will not be watching the kids.”

Balancing Work and Family

Kylie highlighted that Jason’s busy schedule often keeps him occupied with meetings and other commitments. Even shortly after losing the Super Bowl to his brother, Travis, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, Jason found himself making appearances on shows like “Saturday Night Live.” While these opportunities are exciting, they can create a challenge for family time, as shown in the Amazon Prime documentary that followed Jason’s 2022 season with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Kelce brothers have also managed to squeeze in some leisure time, as demonstrated by their participation in the ACC Celebrity Golf Tournament in Lake Tahoe prior to the season.

Navigating This New Chapter

As Jason embraces his new career and Kylie balances raising their young family, the Kelces are navigating the complexities of life after football. With both personal and professional demands pulling them in different directions, the couple is learning to adapt to this new phase together while cherishing the moments they have as a family.
