Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Taylor Swift lose Golden Globes for "Best Song" for film "RRR"

One of the most anticipated categories at the 2023 Golden Globes, which took place this Tuesday (10), was “Best Original Song”. Among the competitors were names like Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Taylor Swift, who were considered favorites by many fans and experts.

However, who took the prize was “Naatu Naatu (Feat. Kaala Bhairava & Rahul Siplingunj)”, composed by MM Keeravani and Chandra Bose for the Indian film “RRR”. The production is one of the great successes of Netflix today.

The other contestants were: “Carolina” by Taylor Swift (from the movie “A Place Far From Here”), “Ciao Papa” by Alexandre Desplat, Guillermo del Toro and Roeban Katz and sung by Gregory Mann (from “Pinocchio by Guilherme Del Toro “), Lady Gaga’s “Hold My Hand” (from “Top Gun: Maverick”) and Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up” (from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever After”).

It is worth remembering that the Golden Globe is considered one of the previews for the Oscar, the main award in the film industry. This year, the famous event will take place on March 12 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, United States.
