Yesterday (03), the developer Player First Games announced through a post on Twitter that the first season of MultiVersus – fight title with characters from Warner Bros. – will have its release delayed, as well as the arrival of Morty for the game. Check it out below:

Following a similar style to Super Smash Bros.this free game has been in open beta since July 26, and its first season was scheduled to debut on August 9, but is now delayed and without a set date to “deliver exciting new content that will delight players”, as per explained in the publication.
However, it’s not all bad news. For those enjoying the beta, the pre-season Battle Pass has also been extended in duration, now lasting until the 15th of this month, so those who have purchased will have extra time to get more rewards.
