Although nothing has been confirmed, Sneider built a solid career by disseminating assertive information about the backstage of pop culture, which gives him a certain credibility.

Now we just have to wait for news.

Previously, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the plot of the upcoming film will be set after the events of ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker‘, which opens up the possibility of seeing Rey return (Daisy Ridley), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and company.

However, the project will not be a continuation of the trilogy released between 2015 and 2019, but an autonomous production that can generate an independent trilogy, if the first film is successful.

At the moment, the script is still being developed, so there are not many details, which means that the recordings may take some time to start.

In addition to this film, lucasfilm is still producing three more titles.

One of them is ‘rogue squadron‘, which will be directed by Patty Jenkins (‘Wonder Woman’), but still has no premiere date set after a break in production.

There are still two untitled projects… One of them will be produced by Kevin Feigewith script by Michael Waldron (Loki), while Taika Waititi (‘Thor: Love and Thunder’) will direct another, which has been in development for over two years with the screenwriter Krysty Wilson-Cairns (‘1917’).

Remembering that the last feature film of the intergalactic saga was ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’released in 2019. Despite mixed reviews, the film grossed over US$1.07 billion worldwide and earned three Academy Award nominations – Best Original Score, Best Visual Effects and Best Sound Editing).

Remember the trailer:

With the return of Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid), everyone fears his power again. Thus, the Resistance takes the lead in the battle that will dictate the course of the galaxy. Training to be a complete Jedi, Rey (Daisy Ridley) is still struggling with his past and future, but fears for the answers he may get from his complex connection with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), which is also in conflict by the Force.
