Now will you? Jerry Bruckheimer Talks 'Top Gun: Maverick' Sequel

Jerry Bruckheimerproducer of the franchise ‘top gun‘, spoke in a recent interview about the possibility of a new sequel, following the incredible success of ‘Top Gun: Maverick‘.

It is worth mentioning that Bruckheimer revealed that only the future will be able to tell if a new film will be produced, as as much as he would love to work on the franchise again, the second film took more than 30 years to happen.

“I can’t say what the future will bring,” Bruckheimer reflected. “If you asked me in ’86, ‘Do you think there’s going to be a sequel in a few years?’ I would have said maybe. But it took 30-odd years to do that!” the producer said.

Which continued: “Well, we’ve been working for years to try to do the second one – it took a long time.”

“And finally Joe Kosinski and Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie got together, and we ended up with a movie that we love and our audiences love.”
