It may not look like it, but the first game in the franchise Mafia was released 20 years ago, in 2002! And to celebrate the series’ anniversary, the distributor 2K made the original title available completely free of charge on Steamthis Thursday (1st).
The announcement was made by 2K on social media. Players interested in obtaining the classic game can redeem it until next Monday, September 5 at 14:00 ET.
To do this, just access your Steam account, enter the game’s page on the platform. Check that the price has a -100% discount, for R$ 0.00, and then just click on “add to account”. Ready! The title will be permanently in your personal catalog.

This week, the studio Hangar 13 confirmed that a new game in the franchise is in development, still in early stages of production, and that it still needs “a few years.”
