We envision a world where fans are deeply connected to the sports they cherish, enhancing their enjoyment and participation.

Our Core Values

  • Pro-Business: We advocate for an environment conducive to business development.

Our Legislative Agenda

As of April 13, 2021, the FSGA is dedicated to advocating for legislation that supports a competitive, mobile, and legal marketplace for fantasy sports and sports wagering.

Fantasy Sports Advocacy

We believe in promoting legislation that supports the following principles:

  • Fantasy sports should be recognized as a game of skill, not classified as gambling.
  • Consumer protection measures should be robust yet consistent with other state laws, avoiding unnecessary burdens on operators.
  • Fee structures, including licensing and renewal costs, should be affordable for operators of all sizes.

Sports Wagering Advocacy

Our stance on sports wagering legislation includes:

  • Mobile registration and wagering without unnecessary barriers, such as in-person registration requirements.
  • A competitive marketplace that encourages multiple entrants to foster innovation and growth.
  • Maintaining game and market integrity through progressive directives that help identify and resolve disputes.
  • Implementing reasonable taxes and fees to ensure fair competition and discourage illegal offshore operations.
