‘She-Hulk’ creator says she has NOT planned new seasons for the series
Among the live-action series of Marvel in partnership with the Disney+, ‘Loki‘ was the only one renewed for season 2.
And it seems that’She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes‘ will follow the same path as the others, ending in season 1.
In an interview with Deadline, the creator and head writer Jessica Gao was asked if she has already planned new episodes for the future of the attraction.
In response, she said that:
“No. In truth, ‘She-Hulk‘ was conceived with a beginning, middle and end. Coming from television, you can never guarantee there will be another season.”
“In my mind, I’ve always worked with just one season, because you really have to tell a complete story, which you’d be satisfied with if it wasn’t renewed. I’ve always worked with the idea of telling things in a unique way, so you can’t have the intention of leaving the plot open.”
Finally, she argued:
“I have no problem leaving the door open for new episodes as long as you plan a satisfying arc in a single season.”
Remembering that the next episode of ‘She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes‘ debut in August 25th.
The plot follows Jennifer Walters (Maslany), a lawyer specializing in superhuman legal cases, begins to gain Hulk-like powers after receiving an emergency blood transfusion from Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), your cousin.
“This new comedy series sees Bruce Banner helping his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion and guess what? She also receives her powers. Tatiana Maslany will play Jennifer, who is a lawyer specializing in superhuman legal cases, while Mark Ruffalo returns as the Hulk alongside Tim Roth the Abomination.”
