It’s worth remembering that when the movie was released last year, there wasn’t any post-credits scene… Instead, audiences got the trailer for ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’.

However, now that the Spider-Man movie will be re-released, copies will get an after-credits scene.

The information was revealed by a Reddit user in a section dedicated to the films of the Marvel Studios.

In the publication, he even details what the scene is like.

“A new post-credits scene has been added in place of the trailer for ‘Multiverse of Madness‘, showing Betty (Angourie Rice) making his last news segment right before graduation, including photos of the kids’ high school adventures (like the Decathlon, the trip to Europe, etc), but none of the photos feature Peter Parker (Tom Holland), indicating how the oblivion spell cast by Doctor Strange works.”

While it doesn’t affect the future of the MCU, the scene should be moving enough that it followed Peter’s entire trajectory, as well as his sacrifices to help save the world.

Also, the scene helps clarify that Strange’s spell (Benedict Cumberbatch) not only altered everyone’s memories, but also reality itself, erasing all signs of Peter’s existence.

And the studio released a new teaser with some never-before-seen scenes, such as Peter Parker (Tom Holland) climbing a wall at Midtown High during a basketball game, and catching a thief on the streets of Queens.

Check it out, along with the poster:

According to the Fandango website, there will be 11 minutes of never-before-seen footage.

In addition to the film’s special effects being finalized after its theatrical release, the new version will also feature several never-before-seen scenes adding more humor.

Watch our interview with Tom Holland:

Worldwide, the sequel grossed over US$1.88 billion.

For the first time in Spider-Man cinematic history, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and can no longer separate his normal life from the great risks of being a superhero. When he asks Doctor Strange for help, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it really means to be Spider-Man.

Directed again by Jon Wattsthe list still has Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Marisa Tomei, JK Simmons, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Martin Starr and Jacob Batalon.
