‘Superman & Lois’: Jordan Elsass reveals the REAL reason he left the series
Through social networks, Jordan Elsass broke the silence over his shocking departure from the series’Superman & Lois‘. The actor revealed that he had to prioritize his mental health, indicating that there are chances of not returning to acting.
“It’s been a rough few weeks, as you can imagine, with everything that’s been going on with the show. It’s sad. I was excited for season three, but what can I do? Mental health is definitely a 100% priority… and mine… the last few years… has been tough.”
He adds, “I need to spend some time with myself. I’m still debating whether to return to acting. Maybe I’ll go in a different direction. I know this will be disappointing for some people.”
The actor played the character Jonathan Kent in the series – a role that will have to be re-cast in the next production cycle.

Years after facing megalomaniacal villains, chaotic monsters in Metropolis and alien invaders who wanted to wipe the human race off the face of the Earth, the world’s most famous superhero, the Man of Steel (aka Clark Kent), and the most famous journalist comic book star Lois Lane face one of the greatest challenges of all time: dealing with the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being a parent these days.
In addition to this complicated job of raising two boys, Clark and Lois also worry that their children Jonathan and Jordan may inherit their father’s Kryptonian superpowers as they grow up. Returning to Smallville to resolve some issues, the couple also reunite with Lana Lang, Clark’s old girlfriend, and her husband Kyle Cushing. Adults aren’t the only ones to cross paths with old friendships, as young members of the Kent family are reunited with Lana and Kyle’s rebellious daughter Sarah.
Of course, there’s never a moment of peace in a superhero’s life, especially with Lois’ father, General Samuel Lane, looking for Superman to banish a villain or save the day at any given moment. Meanwhile, the couple’s return to idyllic Smallville is accompanied by the appearance of both a mysterious stranger and a passionate tycoon named Morgan Edge.
The cast still has Emmanuelle Chriqui, Inde Navarrette, Erik Valdez, Jordan Elsass, Alexander Garfin and Dylan Walsh.
