‘The Burning Girls’: Samantha Morton and Ruby Stokes to Star in New Paramount+ Thriller Series

According to Deadline, the Paramount+ cast the two protagonists of ‘The Burning Girls’a new thriller drama based on the eponymous novel by CJ Tudor.
The information indicates that the Oscar nominee Samantha Morton (‘The Serpent Queen’) and Ruby Stokes (‘Bridgerton’) will star in the adaptation.
Filming should begin later this week.
The plot follows Reverend Jack Brooks (Morton), who moves to a new town with his daughter, Flo (Stokes). As they search for a fresh start, they soon discover that the city has a dark history, with many secrets lurking just below the surface.
Morton’s character is described as a single mother haunted by tragedy, while Stokes’s is a teenager who follows the beat of her own heart.
