O remake of the first part of the Joel and Ellie saga is almost here, with The Last of Us Part 1 launching for the PlayStation 5 later this week on Friday, September 2nd.
While the new version of the game does not arrive, much is discussed about the real need for a remake of such a recent game: after all, the first TLOU was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2013. Anyway, the technological advance over this period was considerable, allowing devs to create games increasingly beautiful and realistic — as is the case The Last of Us Part II.
Taking advantage of the arrival of the reimagining of the first game starring Joel and Ellie, YouTuber ElAnalistaDeBits solved put all versions of the title side by side, comparing all of them and giving an idea of how different The Last of Us Part I remake is.
As we can see above, at least visually speaking, the new version of the first TLOU is actually much, much prettier. The level of detail is astoundingshowing that the Naughty Dog team really doesn’t play around.
