Not all characters in The Legend of Zelda universe are very polite, but we also can’t say they’re downright rude to little Link, especially in Wind Waker. Still, for some reason, a modder known as Aproxm decided it was time to see the green-clothed hero being treated poorly by those around him.

That’s why he created and released a mod that changes the dialogue of virtually every character in this beloved GameCube title so that they are rude on our journey across the seas. There are no less than 10 thousand lines of new dialogue for the game, in addition to cutscenes with new contexts and unpublished characterizations for these NPCs.

You can check out some of this mod in the trailer above, which gives us a taste of this adventure unlike Link in Wind Waker. According to the modder, this is a great way to experience the game in a new way, whether you’re a veteran or a newcomer to The Legend of Zelda franchise.
