‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Dethrones ‘Black Panther’ and Becomes 5th Highest-grossing US History

According to Deadline, ‘Top Gun: Maverick‘ managed to surpass the domestic revenue of ‘black Panther‘ (US$700.4M), making it the fifth highest grossing in US history.
Currently, the long Tom Cruise already raised impressive $700.8 million at the North American box office. In the international market, $740.4 million.
In total, production already adds up to $1.4 billion worldwide. The amount represents the 12th highest global box office in the history of cinema, surpassing hits such as ‘Avengers Age of Ultron‘, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘ and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2‘.
It is worth remembering that the feature also represents the biggest collection – domestic, international and global – of the star’s career. Tom Cruise.
